Legislation training aims to provide learners with in-depth knowledge and understanding of industry specific legislation and regulations as it pertains to health & safety specifically.

Some courses are great advanced additions to the basic SAMTRAC course, such as understanding the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Act, or understanding the legal requirements of the OHS Act in COID training.

Or update your knowledge on the latest mine and construction safety regulations and legal Acts.

Keep in mind all our courses may be taken remotely.

On completion of this course the learner will have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the OHS Act (procedures and regulations).

The course provides learners an overview of the key requirements of the OHS Act, pertaining to safe use of plant and machinery, and how to implement and manage these.

The course offers an overview of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA), including the latest amendments and its implications for safety, health and the environment in a mine.

The course offers the learner the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the Mine Health Safety Act (MHSA) and applicable regulations. Learners will gain knowledge of duties for employer and employees as well as the tripartite institutions.

This course provides the learner with a basic knowledge of the responsibilities pertaining to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act).

Upon completion of this course, the learner will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the basic legal requirements in term of injuries and diseases.

The course, divided into six parts, will provide learners with a better understanding of the concept of legal liability and how legislation regulates and enforces it.

The course offers the learner the opportunity to gain an understanding of the Construction Regulations wherein, they will be able to apply legal referencing, understand the importance of compliance and be familiar with the processes and procedures regarding professional registration.

The course will provide learners with a better understanding of the concept of legal liability within the mining sector, and how legislation regulates and enforces it.
